Part I: Browse and Gather
1. Make sure you are a member of the Zotero Group Library Downtown DC
2. Create a folder for the dates you have signed up for
3. Login to the “Search Terms” Google Doc
4. Browse your years using search terms that draw on the themes we have already discussed in class and those that can be found in the “Themes” Google Doc. Also think about location based search terms as well. Add your search terms to the “Search Terms” Google Doc as you use them if they are not already there, and borrow from the terms your classmates add as well. Put your initials in parenthesis after the terms you add. The successful search terms will likely vary somewhat based on the years you are covering. When you come across potentially relevant articles, add them to out Zotero library. There is no exact number I am looking for, but you should have several times the number you will eventually summarize and tag in part II.
Due Date: February 28, 2013
Part II: Summarize
Write a brief paragraph summary of twenty five articles that you determine are the most relevant for our project. Tag them with all the relevant themes and information so that we can find them easily when we complete our final project. Also use the tag “summary” so that I know it is one of the one’s in your hand selected collection.
